PLACES ESGOTADES! Is the winter bringing you down? Do you feel tired and overwhelmed? Is your friendgroup complaining about how reality feels so unreal these days? Do you miss the feeling of creating something? Me too! In this workshop we will make a zine out of the little energy we have and out of the archives we carry with us — phones, notebooks, playlists, the trash in our pockets… We will sort out and intervene on these artifacts using drawing and writing prompts, and we will bring all of it together in a publication. If we follow the instructions, maybe the hidden messages of the everyday will reveal themselves to us and we begin to see a bigger picture appearing out of the fragments we carry... or maybe we realize we are the butt of a bigger joke. Feel free to bring your sketchbooks/notebooks/printed pictures you took during the past month — paper and drawing materials will be provided.
